New to WoW and i think i broke my game with gnomish X-ray specs! Need Help!

So im new to the server and me and my friends have been lvling up on here, I also took up engineering as my profession and i built the gnomish X-ray specs thinking that it would be funny for a few minutes. Problem is that they are permanently activated even when i take them off and replace them with another item in the helmet slot. I have tried re logging and selling them to a vendor to get them out of my inventory but to no avail. I also went to the bug tracker and this wasn't listed. If anyone can help me out here i greatly appreciate it. Thanks :)

Right click the little goggles icon in the top right corner of your screen, it will remove the buff and hopefully should remove them from your face too :)
