I have a couple of questions that I couldn't find answers to on this forum (Yes, I used the Search tool).
1. - Will it be possible to get xp in BGs? I know it was implemented in late WotLK with RDF but it is not nearly as competitive style of leveling as pretty much even just standing in Stormwind, especially at early levels. And it would be a nice bonus to people who would like to get out of the overcrowded zones at launch.
2. - Will there be any BGs closed at their respective "expansion" launch? (AV, SoTA, IoC)
3. - Will there be any dungeons/raids closed at their respective "expansion" launch?
Would also like to know what BGs gonna be available on release.
In terms of PvP it is realy hard to find any informations.
Well, if wintergrasp is working then maybe they reworked IoC and Sota as well.
Lordaeron is on a newer core than Ragnaros and Deathwing currently are. It is highly unlikely that IoC&SotA are the same. Even so, they'll likely be completely rewritten anyway, just like much other content has been already.
I can't say much to the effect of pvp availability at launch, but it is likely that only WSG and AB will be available right away. Players would need to level up to 40 or 50 (I don't remember which) to get access to AV. I don't know what level EotS becomes available at, but it may be left unavailable until Outland is released. Similar deal for WotLK and the corresponding BGs for that, as well.
All that said, I can't confirm 100% what exactly will be available.
If it is the same as wrath on retail the only bg from 10-19 available is WSG then at 20-29 bracket AB is added in, AV at 50 EotS at 70 and SotA + other 40 man one at 80
the xp from pvp came in with 3.3 patch i believe so i would assume it will not be available at launch due to them removing RDF for the same reason that it was not brought in till a later patch
hope this helps answer your questions but keep in mind this is just my understanding

XP was added in 3.2.0.[/s] RDF was added in 3.3.0.

EotS became available at level 61. XP was added to battlegrounds at patch 3.2. As far whether it will or will not be on Lordaeron at launch, I think it is bad to make assumptions based on RDF not being available at launch since it has been stated many of times that this is a blizzlike server and not a blizz-clone, as there are other cases where things not available at launch will in fact be available at the beginning of Lordaeron's release. Additionally, just because RDF won't be available doesn't necessarily mean that BG queuing without having to talk to NPCs won't be available too. If this has been stated otherwise somewhere, I'll gladly be wrong.
