If u have JC u can just go to profession NPC when u reach, i think, 350 JC and buy best gems. If u have ench or BS (or any other prof than JC) u should w8 till 450 skill and go to proff NPC and buy mats so u can make extra sockets or ench ring or w/e. Before 450 u cant do anything with profs.
