I've been thinking for quite some time about what items to get from ulduar and what items are best in slot, also been checking dk subforum but i haven't seen that anyone made it, so I decided to.
Main reason why I am making this topic is to help people who don't know what to take, and also hear some constructive criticism from other people who know dk class, maybe and better players than me.
Helm: http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=45472 - reason for picking this helm is because i compared it to other helm, this one: http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=45107 and since i use spec with bladed armor, 239 helm gives u more armor, strength and critical by nearly whole 2% so imo its way better.
Necklase: http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=46040 -i was checking all loot from ulduar and this seems to be only strength necklase with gem slot with perfect stats, there is another one but it has no gem slot, obviously this is better.
Shoulders: http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=46117 tier shoulders, you need it to be able to get 4p.
Cloak: http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=54803 - i've been thinking about what to get here, and i compared this cloak from midsummer event with algalon quest reward cloak, but this one is better because u will lose 1.6% haste if you take ring that gives expertise/crit instead the ones you'll see in this topic.
Chest: http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=46111 -tier chest ofcourse.

Pants: http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=46116 - there are other 239 ilvl pants http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=45134 but, since helm from tier has armor penetration, maybe u wont like what i will say, but armor penetration is almost wasted stat because with this gear you won't go for it, and some armor pene would be useless, instead of tier helm with arp, helm that i linked gives hit (noone likes when pestilence miss or icy touch).

I've chosen this gear considering strength as main stat and haste secondary best stat for now.
And untill we are able to get midsummer event cloak, i'd go for algalon 10 man quest cloak reward http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=46320 and http://wotlk.openwow.com/item=45469 instead of haste ring.

I didn't see much gear with armor pene in ulduar, also isn't it too early to use arp gear as dk?
How much % arp do you have, also im curious what gear did you use.

You shouldnt aim for 4p. The stats you get from Hardmode items such as Thorim 25 HM Helmet, FL 25 HM Legs and Alga10 Shoulders are way better than the low-4P Bonus.
Back for Frost is Vezax10 HM in combination with the arp ring from alga 25 quest. Or u go Alga 25 Quest back and Sifs Promise with Seal of Betrayed King.

Algalon 10 man hm shoulders give only 10 strength more, compared to 56 haste u lose from tier ones, i don't think it's worth it.
I understand why you want legs from flame leviathan tho.
But i also don't get why would u lose haste from ring from XT for ring that gives same ammount of strength, or go for agility ring even tho it's 239 ilvl and lose strength.
It really doesn't seem worth it, losing 4p for getting a bit of strength and losing haste.
If there were much more items and stat increase would be higher I would agree to lose 4p and get some other items, but to change only 4 items, and 2 of them are agility, I can't agree with that unless you give better explaination why they are better.

well u get 33str in total with levi legs and alga10 shoulders. ofc u lose somewhat haste but u gain arp which is quite nice for frost dk. even more than haste tbh

With ICC gear, sure, you don't even gem arp and u can get 75% which is soft cap.
But in Ulduar, definitely not, 50 armor pen or so is pretty much a waste of stat if you can get 56 haste instead.
Why do you think I didn't take tier helm and legs from FL HM.
And sacrificing strength for agility and armor penetration is really bad idea, especialy with gear that is available right now.

where do i sacrify strength for agility?
i have no single agility item in my frost-BiS list. just maybe the alga quest ring + vezax10 back but as i already said, u can play with these 2 slots around
