WotLK Arms Warr or Retri Paladin for PVP

Hi. After some reading I still can't pick better generally class for PVP. I read that agility in items like back, rings etc. is better for this classes. But what about arena, 1vs1 and battlegrounds? Which class is stronger? Which class has more "unkillable" oponent classes?

The majority of agility items are not viable options for PvP. And if you do get items with those stats on them, don't get too many of them. It's more OK to do on a Warrior than it is on a Paladin.

Arena; Arms Warrior is superior to Ret in 2's.
1v1; Arms Warrior probably has less counter-classes. However, a Warrior will suffer from problems in 1v1 just like a Ret does, being particularly vulnerable to certain kinds of CC.
BGs; Both are pretty strong.

A Ret performs best with mates that you can support with dispels, healing, etc. A Warrior is more capable at landing kills by themselves, and while Mortal Strike is a wonderful thing, a Ret will always perform better in groups.

Keep in mind, also. A Paladin has a healer spec.
