1. Between Prot Pala and Holy Pala I prefer Holy I think it's more useless and hard to kill. I will go Ret instead of Prot.
About other classes u should go with the ones that u feel more confortable. For example Feral druid have nice survibility but agaist a Ret he will hit u hard but u can heal and cyclone him and run and go to the fight again and u will win vs him (perhaps), but u need more skills and more tricks than just spam attacks.
And one thing that Elipas said in the P.s it's very true.
U should go with what u see it's better for u. If u think u will like playing with prot ok play with prot I should go Holy (my opinion, cleanse, plate wear, nice look with shield, it's like a beast that don't die) ;).
    I don't know how to help u more :D.

  2. Another think just only for u to see.
I said that I like Holy and it's hard to kill and one of the most completed healers in pvp cleanse, hand of freedom, bubble...etc but I play resto druid. Why? Cuz I like heals over time, I like the tree of life aspect (I love nature) and ofc I can play one of my 2 favorite classes feral.
I know that Holy it's more complete more useless and hard to kill than a druid (I think) but I like playing resto druid, more mobility, heals over time and nature...things that I admire.
Just play not cuz it's the most playable class in wow but play the one u like more...with practise u can own everything

  3. Dk is your choice. so why?.
    - it is the eassies class on the game.
    - you can kill to someone just with your dots, hunters, rogues, ( classes who cant heal by themselves )
    - you have ranged spells.
    - it is the class who does not have real anticlasses
    - you can heal you by yourself
    - lots of defenses (stuns, magic, damage)
thats why this class is so "pro"
when you have been killed by some "pro"DK , you can think: it is normal for a unbrained class.

  4. Having a class problem -Least chance of being ganked -Great survivability -Very few counters -PVP-oriented -No Blood DKs
Subtlety Rogue, Human Sexy Female or Gnome Male Mini Troll. With Herbalism for the Healing ability and Tailoring to get nets to stop people from running away or to help you CC while escaping. At level 80 change to Engineering for Parachute, Nitro Boots, Rocket Gloves and Granades.

Play with 2 daggers so you feel like a Rogue. Doesn't matter if you do low DPS, you will eventually level up enough so that you do enough damage to kill a mob with whatever weapon or gear you have. Enjoy playing the game while you reach the game you want to play. Don't play to level up or gear up. If you can play as level 1 for 1 year then you know how to play, if you can't do that then it looks like l2p issue in my eyes.

TL:DR EDIT: Subtlety Rogue has Gouge which stops the player that is behind without needing to stop running away from him, it has Sprint and can run over Water without slowing, you can go invisible as soon as you see an enemy, and you can still move and even attack him (sap) while invisible, you can interrupt his spell cast, and you can teleport to him if you are far. It's the only class that can 1 shot players 5 levels above you while leveling, you just need to hide and follow them and wait for them to be 1% health. Only class in-game that can steal items from mobs, some items are only available via pickpocket. I would level up as Human for early "get away" spell and Gnome because they have bigger mounts and because you can play with Nonfogger elixir all BG plus pop baby elixir for some fights, if they can't click they can't kill. <--- This is the TL:DR. Play Rogue Sub, and alt Holy Pala so you experience Healing, level up as Holy, alternate when bored/frustated or someone is LF Healer in chat login on Paladin, that way, you will always be leveling DPS, and log on Healer to heal dungeons, you can level up by only doing dungeons and asking people to share quests, always tell them to Summon you because you are Healer. Good luck.

Also I want to mention that as Paladin you can bubble friendly players and make them drop the flag, thus helping the opposite faction.

You didn't mention the problem. And Subtlety Rogue, Discipline Priest or Holy Paladin have all that, but they are not easy to level up, they have a lot of spells/abilities that keeps them alive, keeps enemies far or without moving, they are versatile. In World PvP and RBGs I would use the word Support or Specialist instead of Healer, DPS or Tank. Rogues tend to go for DPS but I think longetivity, defense and CC is better. Paladins tend to go for Mana forever pure Healer, I like to play without Beacon of Light and take Pursuit of Justice. Priest I like to play Mp5, Mass Dispell, Glyph of Dispel. Protection Paladin is not good in PvP if you are playing on your own or if people don't know that you are Protection, also it sucks against casters and you have to take damage to gain Mana. Holy is more tanky.

Let me give you an idea, Discipline Priest and Holy Paladin for Tanking, Support, Healing and Dispelling. Frost Mage and Subtlety Rogue to harrass, annoy, pressure, slow, CC. I don't see them as Tanks because they are not the ones taking damage but they can somehow Kite/tank one or more people than a "tank" would, Tanks stay there dealing damage, waiting for their CCs to be ready, staring at their health go to 0%, Frost and Subtlety never stops moving and jumping and doing awesome things.

Choose 2 classes, either try the 2 healers or 2 DPS, or choose one of each, I leveled up as Healer because it's the only way to know your spells, keybinds, macros, CDs and to know if you are going to like the class. Some talents trees seem like a total different class even if it's not.

I think you should go for the easy Healer which is Holy Paladin, and level up as Frost Mage, or, forget everything I said and go Subtlety Rogue.

  5. Not really on topic, but in wow slang RBG stands for rated battleground (since 7 or so years ago). So if you want to talk about a random bg, just write BG.

Private server use different words than retail.
On retail they also call damage dealer "DD" and not "DPS".

Naming damage dealer as DPS should be bannable, so we can rid of this crappy private server habbit once and for all.
"Looking for one damage per second for TOC normal ..."
Jesus christ, how ******ed that sounds.

Thats for reminder, now i have a legal reason to dring today.

RBG-> some people mean random battleground
RBG-> some people mean rated battleground

    Think about it:
Its like the swag, has many meanings, for example "so we are good" or "secretly we are gay" so...

  9. Noone says DD on retail, except for a few "special people", I know, I play retail a lot.
