How to fix the game without adding pathetic ways to entice horde players

Saying the factions are nearing each other in population is great and all, but the actual ganking in game hasn't changed whatsoever. It won't change, either. Having 5 horde gang up on 1-2 Ally is the norm and your attempts haven't changed that issue at all.

Now, I know I'm going to get a lot of flack from players that can't add 1 plus 1, I understand that.

    Let's see:

Alliance gets owned in every area, even their own Ally Questing Zones, making leveling next to impossible. Two possible solutions could magically fix this issue but wait, Ally players will be against this issue, as they were on Global. As being ganked 5v1 by Horde is their dream come true. The only way this even makes sense to me is this: Alliance are all women that love to *****, and by giving them a real reason to ***** they don't actually want a fix to the faction ratio and gank levels, that would remove their ability to *****.

    ??

Anyhow, on to my two very easy thought of fixes, that wouldn't affect anyone but griefers.

Option 1: Disable WPvP for a month for players under level 50, they simply can't be targeted or target enemy players until level 50. This gives the average player enough time to gear up, learn his class, grab a mount to run away on. It would also remove the entire ganking scene.

If that's too much to do (Replace do with comprehend if need be)

Option 2: Disable WPvP for a month from level 70 players while they are in low level areas, such as Darkshire.

Why does a 70 Horde need WPvP in Duskwood? I don't know. I guess that would go against the whole "Blizz-like" feeling we're going for, what, with our x5 Experience rate, Free mount training and Faction swaps.

Problem isn't alliance getting ganked, problem is horde being way more appealing, disabling pvp wouldn't do squat

The problem is Horde mass lvled to 70 really easy and are ganking Ally trying to catch up. I'd love to see you say Horde ganking Ally isn't the issue with a straight face while you stand in Ally questing zones such as Duskwood and can't res without dying by 10 horde.

Disabling PvP would solve every issue there is. Warmane is attempting to say over 5,000 players swapped to Alliance in a 3 day period. That didn't happen. Can you guys at least be half honest?

I still think this move is more appealing to people starting on alliance

I guess when I went to STV and seen a entire guild (20ish people) dancing at the quest givers and slaughtering any Ally that came into the area, it was just all in my head. I must had taken some good acid last night, so good I don't remember ingesting it.

Well do introduce me to your dealer

A player on the forums said ganking isn't an issue. I guess I can go level up now without worry.

But wait, what's that? A horde 70 running around STV. He surely won't gank me though, Wired4ever promised me Ally getting ganked isn't the problem. I got nothing to worry about, thank you for the reassurance. :)

BUT WAIT, WHY ARE YOU ATTACKING ME HORDE 70, WIRED4EVER PROMISED THAT GANKING WASN'T THE ISSUE?! WTF HORDE?! WHY AREN'T YOU ALL LISTENING TO THE WORDS OF 1 FORUM POSTER?!

Its a pvp server, you'll always get ganked, hell in few days it'll be even on ganking

That's basically it. Remind me to take your word for it while I alt tab back into game to read General crying cause Horde owns one of the Ally bases and a **** ton of lvl 30s can't level or hand in quests RIGHT NOW.

    Guess it's the acid again.

Could be LSD too, you never know with these sneaky drugs

I got ganked enough times by alliance leveling up my horde, was so bad at one point I had to log off. Yes, it sucks. It's the nature of a pvp server. Population is almost 50:50 at this point... and with the incentives that they're giving alliance now, I can assure you that ally will outnumber horde pretty dramatically, and you'll come back saying "hahaha that's what you get" when someone complains that the ratio is unfair.

Ally already got what they wanted, and now you're still wanting more.

Log in and play and have fun.

Exactly! People are CONSTANTLY complaining about being ganked, blaming the opposing faction, yet I've seen it all, the same damn ganking and whatnot by horde and alliance. If people didn't wanna be killed at any given chance in contested areas, I think they don't fully understand the concept of a PvP realm. Like you said, and I agree, it does suck to be ganked, that's why I only seem to gank those who try to gank me first. But hell, I'm not gonna blame them for trying to score a kill (of course I despise high levels ganking lows just for the sake of ganking, as there isn't even any honor gain to begin with...).
