Mining

Hello guys I've been having a very rough time finding veins in some areas of the world such as dun morogh.
i've been running about for like 15 mins and I've only managed to find 1 vein, which gave 1 skill and 6 copper.
Are veins bugged or something? do they not spawn as they should?

EDIT: Not to mention that almost 1/2 the veins I DO find are on hills or in the ground.

Copper is definitely a pain. To save yourself a headache it's best to go around if you can during off hours once you get a mount.

Your better off just buying the ore and smelting it for level ups. You can knock out a couple of quests in outland for the extra gold needed. just an FYI.. =)
