They killed the opposite faction when no one else was around to help, thus getting full honor from the kill instead of sharing it with everyone who's around.
Try thinking of it this way. Each kill awards a fixed ammount of honor(should be 63 if I am not mistaken) but this ammount is distributed evenly among all players who are in range.
Example:
3 Horde players kill 1 Ally player. Each Horde member is awarded 21 honor for the kill. (63/3)

Does the Daily pvp quest show up for them in those stats or no? Or maybe first win? (if that even exsited in BC)
It does not. The honour from that daily is a quest reward and it has nothing to do with your performance stats in BGs
