WotLK Settings keep resetting themselves

I've just started playing on the Wotlk servers, and i'm having a problem with the settings resetting themselves whenever i close the game.
I have no idea why or how this happens. Anyone know a fix to this?

follow these steps:
1) Restart your PC
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only".
