Technical Login Troubles

I've made an account for the site, downloaded Wrath of the Lich King. When I try to login on WoW it keeps giving me a "The information you have entered is not valid." I'm really confused because I used everything I knew for my account info and even tried other things such as an actual Blizzard account. Nothing is working.

Make sure you're using your username to log-in, not e-mail

I did, still doesn't let me login.

Have you activated your account via e-mail?
Check that the relamlist is set to 'set realmlist logon.warmane.com'
Firewall not blocking it?

Doesn't seem that firewall is blocking it and how would I be able to change the realmlist?

Go to data> enus, and open realmlist with notepad

It's already set to logon.warmane.com

Edit: Tried opening launcher, opened, logged in, success

Always use wow.exe, not launcher to start game.
