Lordaeron Alliance Horde balance?

Whats the split of Alliance vs Horde like on Lordaeron. I have alot of freetime nowadays and I'm trying not to go crazy being bored so thinking of starting back up. Debating Dwarf or Tauren Hunter, but just wondering where the population is at. Hopefully even :D

if it's for pvp it doesn't matter. all 3 wotlk realms have cross realm bg's and i believe arena's.
