Good day!
I've run in a problem with the Wrath of The Lich King ( OLD ) client. Every time I press escape and either go to video or any settings tab, my game lags, alt tab, game lags, and so I tried placing the game on windowed borderless, and the instant I press windowed, everything goes into a black screen. I'm still able to hear the game in the backround, and press escape to re-set the settings, meaning that it works, I just can't see it... ? Any ideas?

You can find the file in:
*install path*/WTF/config.wtf
Open the file with notepad and just add this line after resolution

I have tried this fix multiple times but as soon as I load the game the file reverts to the original without the added line. Any ideas?

Follow these steps:
1) Restart your PC
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only"
