Forum Artisan Cooking!

Hey forumers!

i recently handed in the clamlette surprise quest to get Artisan Cooking, but it seemed that it bugged.
i got a levelup from the quest but no Artisan Cooking skill. Is there a fix/solution to this or is the char just crap now?

As far as I know you don't need to do the quest for Artisan Cooking in wotlk. You just learn it from the trainer.

Hello! Did you find a way to level cooking?

I have the same problem. After completion of the quest chain:

"I know a guy..." https://classic.wowhead.com/quest=6612/i-know-a-guy
"Clamlette surprise" https://classic.wowhead.com/quest=66...lette-surprise

I didn't get Artisan cooking knowledge. And obviously I can't level cooking past 225 without that.

All the trainers I've visited so far don't teach Artisan cooking.

Tried trainders in: Darnassus, Stormwind, Shattrath, Honor Hold, Dalaran, Howling Fjord, etc

Makes no sense I trained in Dalaran or Honor Hold.

The clamlette surprise only teaches how to make a recipe, to level up you go train at a trainer.

Thank you guys! You'd triggerred another round of thinking in my head and I realised that I had been looking at "Unavailable" skills all this time. All I had to do was to set it back to "Available" and "Artisan" apearred indeed :D
