1. TOC25 Guide

    Video:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzDNMuyvTh8

This video I made (whilst some slightly annoying experimental hype-moments) is quite effective at explaining the majority of the tactics for TOC25 for most beginners

    ***Gormok The Impaler***
Move him to the middle of the room (usually we don't do this on normal mode)
Tanks taunt off of each other after 4 stacks of impale
Rogues/warriors use disarm as often as possible to reduce impale stacks on the tanks
    WATCH OUT FOR FIRE

    ***Acid Maw and Dreadscale***
Both worms have a tug-of-war CATDOG like ability here. If 1 is mobile the other is immobile. While mobile the worm can use molten/poison spew and spray all targets in front of him effectively killing everyone if the boss is not turned away from the raid.

-A small poison pool will form underneath the boss just move the boss away (tanks)
-The boss will spit their toxins at the raid,
green = exponential slow that snares players
Red = AOE (Area of effect) explosions every few seconds to every player around you. The red explosions remove the green snare/slow so make sure if you have red you don't stand near others and try to hit people with green toxins before moving away from the raid group.

    ***Icehowl***
Tank the boss near the wall so melee dps that are slapped away from the boss are slapped into the wall and can still dps the boss. When he knocks everyone back and jumps to the middle of the room he will charge a player and hit anyone in his direction, simply run out of his run and you will easily kill him.

    ***Lord Jaraxxus***
    Main tank tanks boss

Off tank tanks adds (if your group is weak tank them near the boss for cleave)

Fel fireball - interupt this spell so jaraxus doesn't kill anyone
Legion Flames - You get firewalking meaning you spawn flames underneath yourself, run to the edge of the arena/circle and run clockwise until they're gone. Similar to blood queen lanathel's burning shadows

Empowered Nether - 200% increased magic damage, mages CAN SPELLSTEAL this buff, meaning if you have a mage he can get 200% increased damage, and if he saves all his cooldowns he can reach up to 30-40k dps here. Most mages should be top dps on this fight

Tank and spank boss with very few mechanics

    ***Faction Champs***
    There are 3 healers:
Resto druid, Resto shaman, Holy priest, or holy paladin

All 3 healers need to have their heals interupted constantly or else they will heal the raid.

There are 3 or 4 possible big-dick damage dealers in the enemy team:
    Shocuul (warrior)
    Irathia? (Rogue)
    Tyranius? (Death Knight)
    Baeledor? (Ret pala)

Each of these mega-damage hitters should be cc'd constantly, slowed, death gripped away from the team, and constantly harassed into staying away from everyone and unable to do damage.

Disarms work best on the warrior, dk or rogue when they're killing your teamates.

Priests need to be on the outskirts of the raid spamming MASS-DISPELL to get rid of bloodlust on the enemy team and any fears or dots on our team.

    ***LIST OF POSSIBLE ENEMIES (ALLIES)***

    Class Champions
    Alliance
    Death knight Tyrius Duskblade
    Druid (Caster) Kavina Grovesong
    Druid (Heal) Melador Valestrider
Hunter Alyssia Moonstalker and her lioness
    Mage Noozle Whizzlestick
    Paladin (Heal) Velanaa
    Paladin (Retribution) Baelnor Lightbearer
    Priest (Discipline) Anthar Forgemender
    Priest (Shadow) Brienna Nightfell
    Rogue Irieth Shadowstep
    Shaman (Heal/Caster) Saamul
    Shaman (Melee) Shaabad
Warlock Serissa Grimdabbler and her felhunter Zhaagrym
    Warrior Shocuul

    possible healers:
    Anthar Forgemender
    Saamul
    Velanaa
    Druid

Always focus the rogue first, then the warrior, then either the DK/Ret pala or the healers depending on how good your group can interupt them.

Priests need to stand away from the enemies and spam mass dispell on the raid so they don't get feared/cc'd

Warriors/rogues should disarm the rogue/warrior NPC

Raid Leader needs to set at least 2 players to interupt each healer npc to negate the enemies healing. If you don't have 6 players who can actively interupt then make sure you have a minimum of 1 player interupting each healer

    ***TWIN VALKYRIES***

    Tanks:
Taunt both valkries and drag them to the middle of the coliseum. Make sure they're both facing the same direction so they can't parry anyone.
    ***SPECIAL ABILITIES***
Focus the Valkry that is shielded and break her shield then interupt her or else both valkries heal for 20% max hp
    or
One of the valkries twirl around and will explode constantly, killing everyone of the opposite color and giving empowerment stacks to everyone with the same color. It's worth switching for most classes due to the empowerment buff, even if your defensive CDS will save you

    ***ANUB'ARAK***
Patches of ice will fall from the ceiling after ranged dps kill the ice spheres that are falling down.

Main tank will tank anub'arak and the off tank will drag the adds under anub'araka

The raid must focus down and kill the first 2 adds after they're in position on the boss. The 2nd set of 2 adds will be ignored until anub'araka uses burrow. During the burrow phase the raid will kill the 2 large adds and small adds, standing on ice will stop anub'arak spines from killing you (altho this might just be a warmane bug)

Anub'arak will eventually unburrow and you will repeat this process until he reaches 30% hp. Raid leader should call bloodlust before the 30% mark if the 40 seconds of bloodlust will garuntee and secure phase transition from phase 1 to phase 2 where anub'arak uses leaching swarm.

If anub'arak still has adds with him during the Leaching Swarm phase then focus those down and kill them. Healers need to not overheal on Leaching Swarm phase as anub'arak steals % hp from all raid members, so maintaining the raids health pools between 30-60% hp is vital to helping dps kill him quickly.

If bloodlust was not already used to reach Leaching Swarm phase already then use it immediately going into phase 3 and nuke the boss down. It's a tank and spank at this point. Healers don't heal the raid too hard as anub does 10% max hp lifesteal from all raid members, keep the raid alive between 30-60% hp to be on the safe side, although the less hp the better.

  2. Gonna bump these guides as they still bring in a steady stream of views to my youtube channel and I get a lot of comments telling me they're useful, hopefully you boys on warmane think so aswell, even though there aren't any comments.

  3. Nice guide, I may add. On the Anub fight, DBM (or atleast Zidras' DBM made for Warmane) has an option that automatically removes Health-increasing buffs which can help during Leeching phase (The more health you have the more Anub leeches from you. This can help a bit for the fight especially for progression raids.

  4. I'd argue min/maxing at this rate is unnecessary.

You either have the dps or don't, and this might make a 3-4k dps difference if ur on the verge of berserk, but this is next level min/maxing.
