Nobody told me LAA required you to change molten folder's read-only bit.

Is that why I am still crashing in fps when I look at any some bosses? I'll try fixing that and report back if not.

But if so.. THANK YOU... playing here for 9 years, 6 on this machine, and never noticed any issues until the past year when I got the hardware cursor bug, and now fps dropping to like 8 on pp.

edit: i wonder if my ram itself is going bad...

Love it! But I have a problem, and it is that it does not show me the name of the zones, anywhere, either in the mini map or the friends list. If someone has the same problem I would like you to help me, thank you very much!
Hello. Please remove Dungeon Maps patch and download from original thread (http://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=424250)

This has something to do with your game language. If the language of your install is different from the dungeon map patches, it'll hide the names of zones. This is a common issue, please do as Timitor has told you. You need a compatible patch, to the language that your game has been installed in.

There's a few issues at play here. First of all. LAA doesn't fix FPS issues. It fixes RAM crashes. RAM crash is if the game actually shuts down with an error code of #132~.
These two are different problems, to which require different solutions, if I understand correctly.
Maybe, you're using too many AddOns, which can slow down your game significantly when they have to calculate the data.
This is a common issue. FPS breaking due to AddOns taking a massive toll(mostly due to really bad coding, or due to some outdated system, that the addons will try to rely on).

If, by downloading LAA and using it correctly, you haven't yet gotten a fix to your FPS issue on bosses, try looking at your addon list. Even re-install them with the right patch. I'd recommend using the Warmane Forum to figure out what versions people prefer using here.

If you don't have your Warmane folder on an SSD yet, please use one, if possible. Having your games installed on an SSD is a massive performance boost.

    Hope this helps.
