Game loads so slowly, because an unknown background download is happening

Has anyone experienced the same issue as me? When i login into my characters, it took me so long just to get past the loading screen. Even after logging in, the response for everything is so slow. I have never had this issue before. Then i noticed when i hover my mouse on top of the menu, it shows that a download in progress. Can anyone help me on fixing this?

You've probably downloaded the minimal MoP client. This means the game will download as you play and may cause issues with phasing and spawning. I think you're best bet is to just take your time.

Well i already solved my problem. I have been playing on this server for 3 months, and the problem was because some of my files suddenly went missing. That explains why i had a download prompt. Had to re-check the files using the torrent. Besides i never saw a minimal client download on the download page
