No possibility to select faction and continue leveling with pandaren chars

First of all my apologies if I am duplicating a post but I was not able to find something exactly as it happened to me. I am a macOS user and use the MoP Windows client (as there is no client for macOS yet) and launch it via wine. Currently, I can play several chars with no problem except Pandaren. As I could read in the forum, the Pandaren starting zone looks bugger for a majority of users. Well, I'm not an exception and I am stuck with the quest "Still Good" (which I see it's bugged and already reported). My question is: could I select a faction somehow and being teleported to the main faction city and continue levelling from there? I really would like to level a Pandaren (also my girlfriend is able to play but only with Pandaren).
