1. [*]Marketplace will be as last year. Once players obtain a significant amount of a specific item, it will be offered on the marketplace. As many players saw last year, this can sometimes take time as it depends on the amount of items circulating in the game.
As you probably saw on the Frostmourne forum section, the above statement is a particular point of contention. For all the enquiries and anticipation, the was never any official response provided. Even to confirm or quantify the above statement.

At the point of writing this, the shop on Frostmourne has not been updated with a single ilvl264 item. Now it feels like it's a mute point to argue as the sever will reset in a little over two weeks and noone really cares for the update anymore. However, it would be helpful to know as to why that is.

Is the amount of items dropped set to unreasonably high values? If so, will the values be adjusted?
Considering this is one of the primary means of monetization for the server, does it make sense to skip out on a whole patch?

Stating the amount of item drops is what fuels a shop update is incredibly hard to believe. Some tier10 pieces were added to the shop 3 or 4 days into the ICC patch (assuming VoA drops). Few days later all ilvl258 ToC items were added to the shop and along with that all ilvl 251 items from ICC were added. This is at the point where there were only 3 alliance guilds that managed to kill 10man LK. This feels like the ilvl251 gear simply bandwagoned with the ilvl258 ToC gear as it made little sense to leave out "inferior" items.

This may be a tin foil hat moment, but the items that would be the most coveted in the shop also refuse to drop from bosses at appropriate rates. Call it extreme misfortune, but we have noticed way too many cases where 95% of the boss loot was being disenchanted while anticipating drops such as http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=47131 and http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=47059. We dropped 1 of each across two difficulties. This got more extreme in ICC where we have not seen http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50351, http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50360 or http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50345 drop at all. A lot of guilds have similar horror stories. In a vacuum, it's hard not to believe that specific gear is not weighted towards a "catch up in shop" incentive.

  2. Finally, something truly "fresh" on the stale WotLK scene, instead of just that plain Naxx to ICC progression - nice work.
Too bad the new season starts at the same time as the new PoE league.

These items are not available in the store.

Why do you not record every drop instead of providing anecdotal evidence? It would take 5 seconds for every drop.

  4. Hello, I need help with one minor issue.

So, on Icecrown there is a DeathKnight cap for me, max 1.
Could I add in a second DeathKnight character to Icecrown by merging it from Frostmourne?

I would like to have a DeathKnight on both sides basically.

Ok let me clarify. These items WOULD BE coveted if they were available in the store. I know they are not and said so at the start of the reply. Point was, some item drop rates feel lower with the intention of having more people get them in the shop. But.... the shop was never updated.

Also, all our loot was indeed recorded going all the way back to Ulduar and this evidence is not anecdotal, those items legitimately never dropped in any of our raids.

  6. how about guild and guild bank ? will be transferred ?

there is no death knight cap on icecrown, atleast for me.

Last year when the realm was fresh the shop was updated after the realm first achievement was made to be given starter sets for pre-nax raiding. You were not able to purchase best in slow nax25 gear until at least a month after april 15th of 2020 and that was even with 2 resets a week.

I feel like the point of this was to establish players who wore gear earned them, and didn't give them realm a pay to win feature like Icecrown does.

  10. "Frostmourne Season II will start on April 15, 2021. The first content tier will be available a few weeks later, players will be given two weeks to prepare before they can start challenging the raid content."

Why wait so long before the opening of the first raid? Two weeks of dungeon is a lot i think... And the hype of the beginning of the server a little lost cause of that

  11. Would be nice to see some added QOL leveling changes, auto learn spells or something in that area.

  12. I see what you're doing and I like it. By the time WotLK Classic comes around Warmane will have its own meta that will not even compare with the Blizzard product. The best expansion on a constant seasonal loop with the best features introduced throughout the year on retail. Mythic+ will come, I'm sure of it now. It's basically timewalking with extra steps.

    Keep the innovation coming.

That's just not true, almost all KT25 weapons were available in less than 2 weeks after launch.

  14. i hope warmane will not overtune naxx25
