About us

<rats> is a newly founded guild for this second season of Frostmourne.
Our core is a collection of experienced WotLK players from different backgrounds, who have progressed multiple servers in different guilds over the last couple of years.
What we all have in common is the skill, experience and dedication necessary to cruise through WotLK content and challenge for the top spot in this season of Frostmourne.

Current Progress

We cleared Naxx, EOE, and OS3D on the first day of raids. Sadly we could not claim any Realm First titles from <Online>, but considering that our guild was only 2 weeks old, even participating in the race was already an accomplishment.
We are now farming all content in split runs to prepare for T8, with the goal of taking a Realm First title in that tier.

Raid days: Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday
Raid time: 19.00-23.00 CEST
Loot: Council. Loot will be distributed based on how big of an upgrade it is for the guild, not as a reward for playing.

What we are looking for

- Skilled and experienced WotLK players
- Progress oriented min-max mindset
- Calm and respectful behavior
- Willingness to play 2 or more characters for split runs
- 90%+ attendance. Absence should be a rare exception

First raid day

Yesterday, we were finally able to raid together for the first time, and join the race for T7.
Sadly, due to an unlucky trash wipe in Naxx and missing experience with drake combat in EOE, we fell a few minutes behind <Online> in both raids and weren't able to claim any Realm First titles. However, considering our guild is only 2 weeks old and the majority of the players haven't played together before, we are still happy to have participated, and to have kept the race fairly close. Naxx, EoE, OS3D are cleared, and we are looking forward to these upcoming weeks. We are confident that with improving our roster and getting more used to raiding with each other over the next months, our chances of winning a Realm First in T8 will be greatly increased.

To prepare our roster for T8, recruitment is now open for all positions. We will be doing 3 split runs each week, which gives us the opportunity to see and trial a lot of people.
