[A] Revenimus - Low Gear Progression (Ulduar currently)

THIS MESSAGE IS NOW MOSTLY DEFUNCT.
It has become clear we won't be able to maintain this as the primary part of the guild and will be moving on to TOC and ICC, but will maintain a low gear Naxx/Ulduar once per week raid day separate from those. If you're interested in doing low end gear runs of lower content, this is available, but it won't be the primary purpose of the guild any longer. A proper updated recruitment post will probably be placed shortly.

Revenimus is a guild project to progress through all of the older content until we've cleared the entire game. We've beaten our way through the level 60 and 70 content already, and have just cleared Naxx with an ilvl cap of 213. As we're moving up to Ulduar10, we'd like to fill our ranks out a bit more and pick up some classes we were missing. If you have the skill to take things on at the gear level they were meant for, even on the significantly stronger Lordaeron versions, then this is a great time to join as we'll be making our way through Ulduar in about 2 weeks, giving you time to get a set of the ilvl232 gear you'll be restricted to.


What we want:

— People competent at their class. Don't worry if you don't know the raids, we can teach that as we go through them.

— 1 Retribution Paladin

— 1 Affliction Warlock

— 1 Marksmanship Hunter

— Potentially other classes, especially if you have a tanking or healing offspec to cover if someone's missing that day.

— We are only looking for level 80 characters at this time.

What we offer:

— Challenging raiding and progression that will give you satisfaction for beating (Ulduar10 is set to ilvl232 gear at max currently due to how Lordaeron's scaling works; hard modes are scaled to be after TOC).

— Two raids a week, at Thursday 8pm server time, and Sunday 9pm server time.

For these next two weeks, if you want to hop in right now, we're doing Obsidian Sanctum +1 (this week, then +2 next week) and Onyxia while people change their gear over to ilvl232. You are expected to have all of your gear enchanted and gemmed, as we'll be going in against stuff tuned to be harder than it was on release.

Note we will probably stay in Ulduar for about one month and probably clear it 2-3 times before moving on to TOC. During TOC we'll be having a larger recruitment drive to build up for ICC25 and shall be progressing up through to endgame from there.
