Technical Transfer still not done after 6 hours

Earlier today I went ahead and started the transfer process from Frostmourne to Icecrown.
At first i was like fine I will wait some time since I know the transfers could take some time.
Now 6 hours after I started the transfer my account still says it is setting up the transfer.
The I hear from friends that they did it and it was fixed in like 10 minutes or less.
So I just wanted to know why it is taking so long for me.
