WotLK BiS point gear for new lvl 80 frost dk?

I just came back to game and still have a fdk and Im looking into pve-ing, what are the best items to get from point shop for pve? Should I get the pvp set items? would those be useful for starter pve?

For more precise advice we lack any info, "items for PvE" is pretty vague. Like what's your current gear, do you raid with guild, what's your goal, how many points you can spend, etc.

thanks for your reply. Sorry it's been many years since I played so Im kinda readjusting to things.

I have 146 points saved from ages ago. And Im currently wearing greens provided from the char transfer from Cata to lk (absolute crap). Ultimately I intend to raid and find a guild but I guess what Im looking for are some gears to start off with dungeons to grind up again.

T9? Im guessing using 2 handed weapons? thinking of mace cuz Im Human.

Frost DK uses slow 1-handed weapons.

You can also take Gloves, left that out because you can get decent gloves easily in ICC Dungeons.

I mean, trinkets at this stage are quite fluid, you could use Trinket from EoT rewards to cap Hit rating if necessary or buy http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50198 + http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=40256 to plink out a bunch of obliterates during proc with ERW or something. I'd suggest you to take first 2 trinkets, they will work passively since you have other things to focus on and shake the rust off by refreshing knowledge about FDK.

I guess you have enough Points for that.
