Idles/Abandons in Frostmourne BGs

Is there something with the algorithm this time around? I actually put in a GM ticket about this, but after 9 days of no response, I just withdrew the ticket. The icon at the top after a week just started getting me angry.

I was in a BG a while back (IoC) and I was on the roof ot the building, on a cannon, shooting faction enemies and siege stuff. Suddenly, I'm back in Dalaran with the scared blue cat debuff on me. Couldn't figure out how that happened.

A different time, I was in IoC. I was a latecomer and when I zoned in, I was pretty quickly killed. While waiting the 30 seconds, I was "flagged" idle. Therefore I had to rush into the fray without buffing and attack a horde to lose the debuff. When the keep cleared, 20 seconds later I had the idle tag again. I had to rush into mid like a flash to not get kicked.

Is this working as intended?
