HDMI Monitor Black Screen.

Hello, ive been having this issue for a while now, when ever I try to open my World Of Warcraft WOTLK on my desktop (im playing on a laptop connected to a Gaming monitor) it just pops a black screen with the music from the login screen, does anyone know how to correct this? or is there any setting i can adjust to open WoW when im connected to the monitor? (yes it does open normaly when the HDMI cable is off)

Open your wow\WTF\Config.wtf file with a text editor(notepad or w/e). Find these in the file(they may be in random rows):
SET gxResolution "1920x1080"
SET gxWindow "1"
SET gxMaximize "1"

Change gxResolution to something small like "800x600", make sure gxWindows is set to "1" and gxMaximize is set to "0". Save the changes and try opening wow again, see if the game actually shows up.
