Quick question about the Mercenary Mode

If I were to turn it on (I'm Alliance) would I start getting reputation with Defilers in Arathi Basin for example when I get to play as Horde? I assume this would not happen but I still want to be sure, I chose Alliance *because* I hate the Forsaken and how vile Horde lore in general is. But I still want to get into BGs faster so I'm willing to fight for the Horde.

U still get the Aliance rep not the horde one.
