Technical Amazonses

I was checking some of my old Warmane mails today and I noticed this:

Account creation verification
Warmane <[email protected]> using amazonses.com.


So my question is was Warmane usign amazonSES back in 2016 so I can figure out is this some phishing kind of a mail that was sent back than?

All my emails from from Warmane til June 2016 are shown as sent from amazonses so it's probably real.
