Questions from a New Arcane Mage

Hi. I just switched from frost to arcane. I am wondering if arcane mage has any shield/barrier spell that can absorb damage, as I did not see any in my spell list?

And where can I learn Arcane Barrage Rank 1 ? I only saw rank 2 from the mage trainer...

Also, do arcane mages use Molten Armor or Mage Armor, as I saw in the arcane mage guide page that one of the major glyphs suggested was Molten Armor?

1. Mana Shield as the standard. Watch your mana though! You wouldn't want to be oom.

2. Arcane Barrage is in your talent tree (the last one at the bottom).

3. If you're really having mana issues no matter how conservative you are with your rotation, Mage Armor can help a little bit. For PVP you'll be mostly in Mage Armor anyway as it helps reduce the duration of magic effects (like Silences). For PVE however, you'll indeed be using Molten Armor for extra boost to your critical strike chance.
