WotLK Glpyh of Frost Ward / Fire Ward in PvE

Can anyone please confirm or deny if Glpyhs of Frost Ward or Fire Ward (5% chance on reflect) work in PvE environment?
I am not sure if it is intended or bugged or just very unlucky - but for last 20 ICC runs (that I tried to test this in particular) I cannot get any reflects on Frostbolts or Frostbolt Volleys from Lady or Risen Archmages (Valithria fight). I cannot even recall any NPC single-target frost or fire spell being reflected ever. In PvP it is not even that uncommon to get a reflect, so... Did anyone do some testing? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I will only speak theorically : you should not be able to reflect boss spells, but you should be able to do it on adds and trash mobs
