1. is not timewalking custom?
So? What's your point? Our design decisions aren't based on whataboutism. There's no "since X, then Y," there's no "you did X, so you can/should/must do Y." It's a matter of "X fits what we want to offer in our servers, Y doesn't," the end.

And you had people frustrated about loot for the entire season, it does not feel good to go in to a raid and get a bunch of useless items like the ones xxhummusgodx posted, i dont think removing the items is the solution, give us more so we have more chances to get the good items.
Ever heard the idiom "you can't please everyone"? This is a textbook case. No matter the choice we make, there will be some people who will complain, therefore we stick to the design and intention of the server - which doesn't include custom loot tables or extra drops to appease those "some people." Stop insisting or trying to argue, you have had an answer to that for over an year. If the expansion's loot tables are such massive deterrent, perhaps you just aren't the target audience for Wrath of the Lich King and/or Frostmourne.

  2. do keep in mind that Frostmourne, by its very nature and design, wasn't made with casual players in mind. Of course casuals are welcome to join, but you can't expect the design of the server to be changed to accommodate them. Much like playing in Lordaeron, players should go in knowing what they're getting into.

Maybe you guys should see if it's possible to change this, as it's extremely confusing for people who are trying WoW for the first time and actually think Frostmourne is a realm for new players. I don't know if you actually play on Frostmourne, but if you have, then you surely have noticed the large amount of noobs there. Several people have pointed out the "New Players" text without realizing it's about population, not server type. If there's something you could do to the client to make that more obvious, that would be great. I agree that players SHOULD go in knowing what they're getting into, but since people don't read the forums or even basic information on the website, most of the time they don't.

EDIT: Is the population of Frostmourne really so low that the client doesn't even show "Low" but instead new players as if it's a brand new realm? Blackrock is shown as having "Low" population, but according to warmane.com, Frostmourne has MORE THAN DOUBLE the amount of players that Blackrock has. I'm so confused LOL

  3. Yeah, extremely confusing. That's definitely why we have all these threads filled to the brim with posts from people who mistakenly joined it because of that.

While you do show that anyone who keeps trying and trying and trying eventually at some point can come up with something skirting validity, keep the reaching to yourself. It completely negates any merit there could be in a suggestion to check whether that label can be changed or if it's automatically set and hard-coded. And no, it probably has to do with the server age, with it being less than an year old (which it will always be) while the others are much older. Fresh servers are more new player-friendly than established ones, no mystery in that. It should be pretty obvious it isn't about population when, like you say yourself in your edit, Blackrock has less than half the population and is rated as Low.

Maybe people would find it more worthwhile to post on the forums if it wasn't solely moderated by one staff member whose posts mainly consist of mocking people and making snarky, sarcastic replies to threads
