WotLK PVP Frost specific for WSG

I am wanting to spec my frost mage for WSG and I have basically been a CC guy that escorts the flag carrier. Considering that. should I worry about haste as much since my spells that CC are instant? I was thinking stacking Stamina would be good to stay alive and be able to continue CC. But what do you think.

I don't think you can stack enough stamina as to make a difference. Perhaps get the Corroded Skeleton Key?

Resilience has more value than stamina in Pvp.
If you want to go full defensive you should get 1414 resilience and Stam after that.

this is true.

but why be so tanky if ur not carrying the flag? since u wana just spam cc im assuming u wana be frost. not all of ur cc is instant and losing haste is gunna hurt that.

also sometimes ur best way to help defend is to help kill not just spam cc. tank gear isnt gunna help u when that happens.

better ideas would be the use of trinkets or items like bauble of true blood. that could come in clutch.

frost mages already have great survivability so unless ur carrying the flag idk why u need all this tank gear.

good points and good feedback. So for a Battleground Frost Mage, What should be my Stat priority? is their a goal to reach with Res? ive been doing SpellPower gems and enchants. I was told i need spell PEN by some and that i dont by others.
