Yes, in fact this pops up about every week. There is certainly NOT a demand for it, or at least not enough to justify one. Warmane once had a server, but it was closed down due to lack of interest, and consistently low populations.
To be completely fair, it was closed due to a lack of population due to long-term neglect and lack of updates, brought on by the development of what was then Lordaeron core, and is now just what warmane uses for wotlk realms in general...
The cata players actually asked for that, like option was "close realm now, or stop getting updates" and we chose to keep the realm, however, no updates means no new players, so the population slowly crept down and down and down... until it was dead
To be actually completely fair, this is an "egg or chicken" sort of deal. From the point of view of players they will say there was a lack of updates so they left; from our point of view players started and kept leaving even when there were updates happening, so there was less and less reason to focus there, when our Wrath of the Lich King servers were undeniably and consistently more successful. Which one came first? Pointless to discuss for obvious reasons, it is what it is.
