Hey, I just have one question - do you earn arena points by only playing SoloQ 3v3?
Or is SoloQ only for getting the rating and you need to farm arena points via the regular 2v2, 3v3 matches?
Thanks.

Is the same amount of points u get on normal 3v3?
Getting rating on solo is harder/easy or is about the same thing?
the AP from soloq rating are calculated as 2vs2 (even for the "gear requirement. Example: with 2.000 soloq rating you can not buy wrathful shoulder on lordaeron/icecrown)
It is easy to get high rating but it is really frustrating playing with random players
I wouldn't suggest you to go for SoloQ if you do not have much arena experience, in order to gain rating you have to be mechanically better than your opponents while keeping track of what is going on with your party, the positioning and everybody's cooldowns.
It's much easier to understand arenas and practice mechanics with 2vs2 first with less things happening around.
SoloQ is easier than 3vs3 though since a single player is able to be getting his team to win in most situations, due to the lack of synergy between players from the matchmaking.
