WotLK Call of the Wild bugged?

Hi,

my pet (wolf) just reached max lvl and I noticed something really strange. If I order my pet to attack a target with the regular Attack command, Call of the Wild is also used and subsequently also instantly used when it is ready again, even though I do not press anything after sending my pet in. Is this a bug? Since I remember that Call of the Wild is a spell which can only by used by the character and not by the pet. But from the behaviour I've observed the pet seems to use it.

It's set on autocast by default. You can click on the icon to remove the autocast, which is marked with glow effect around the icon. Either from pet's action bar or from pet's spellbook.
