U can play both,if u lack replenish/judgement of wisdom play survival(mostly 10 mans).MM benefits the most from buffs/debuffs in general,Survival mostly from CoE since u have more magical damage,BM is a meme spec,ignore it.

Survival will do more damage overall. Maybe when you have good gear with Grim Toll + DMC, trap/melee weaving MM will be better than Survival on single-target, trap-friendly fights (Patchwerk) and regular MM will be better on single-target, long-range fights (Heigan, KT). If you don't have an Enhancement in your 25-man raid, (which is exceedingly rare these days) then you'll just play Marksman.

Arcane shot does a good amout of damage atm, no reason to go Grim Toll over Fury or Mirror of Truth even if you are MM.

If you use the outdated Warmane MM rotation, it doesnt matter what you do lol. Fury of the Five Flights on Hunter, btw, LOL.
