Frostwolf / MoP - What has happened?

Hello all,

I've recently came back and started playing a bit, only to notice that there's like 200-400 players playing MoP these days. MoP realm used to have few thousand players online years ago. This might sound silly, but, what happened? Is there a specific reason why the population is so low?

more dev-focus on wotlk core -> MoP realm slowly lost population

Lack of fixes and development as most of it is focused on WotLK.

Pretty much what those two just said. It's a shame because I actually had a good time on MoP back when it was current for Retail and it was the expansion I played the most, though it was probably because I had real life friends to play with at that time.
