Make specific NPC types invulnerable.
Auctioneers, bankers are a good start
Other NPCs would be up to discussion.
I distinctly remember a ban type "Disrupting Gameplay" for players constantly killing auctioneers as a rogue in the opposing alliances cities.

Don't hope that is true... if they were not meant to be killed, they would be like that from the start (You will find NPC's that can't be killed)
A rogue ganking around is part of the game, why should you else roll rogue?

When they're full bis with wrathful gear and shadowmourne and you're a 5k gearscore, what can you do to stop them? They can 1v5 at that point. You must underestimate the power of Resilience and bis gear.

go to a neutral city like shattrath or dalaran for bankers
and go to any other city for AH.
make a bank alt with engineering and put that char in dalaran?
if you play a mage, portal to any other city?
start getting into pvp and make an anti-gank spec.
there's so many options for this problem and asking warmane to change their game (which will have ALOT more consequences than just "its gonna stop the people killing bankers" ) is honestly just an insult to gamers in general.
no matter how much of a casual player YOU are, does not change the fact that WoW (and wotlk specfically) is a non-casual game.
every problem in this game has a solution, you just dont wanna do it.
and that's not warmane's problem lmao

Why is there a 30% buff to icc? Why was all the wotlk content nerfed over and over and over again?
Wrath is extremely casual friendly. Warmane ain't.
