weapon speed and prot
i know the conventional wisdom is that slower weapons are better because weapon skills are based on weapon damage... but is prot an exception to this? my hammer of the righteous is based on dps rather than base damage, and that is my biggest damage dealer. and every other skill seems to have a base amount modified by str and such, but no skills based on weapon damage.
is havok really better damage than mithrion? (talking ONLY dps for prot here)

Your judgements will scale better with slower weapons. Slower weapon being better for Hammer of Righteousness is well spread misconception
