WotLK Is Rogue good for a new player?

I have been playing wow for a year. I've tried a lot of classes, but I'm especially drawn to rogue. They have always looked great in both PvP and PvE. I've been wanting to start playing it so I need some advice. Is it true as everyone says that Rogue is too hard for PvE and PvP, and is it hard to gear?

No, it's ok, it's not any harder or easier than other classes. If you read up a bunch of guides and info, you will be fine. And with time you will learn to use more intricate stuff and such things, like any other class. It's great in both PVP and PVE.
