Phased exploration during Wrathgate chains

During the Wrathgate quests as Alliance, I was portalled to Orgrimmar and later to Tirisfal Glades, into hhat appeared to be phased zones. I noticed Zeppelins were going outside the city, but was wondering if anyone had done any exploration during the phasing, and if so, how far they got? It seems to be a handy way to get exploration of (especially Horde) territory without the hassle of encountering other players or mobs.

Try for yourself and report back. I would like to know but I don't feel like doing the whole questline (which, by the way, gets you bugged in that phase until a GM fixes it for you).
