1. Fresh lvl 80 druid

Just come back playing WoW in last 2 weeks and recently got my lvl 80 on my Tauren druid i have trouble on gearing been researching alot on youtube and the net for the Pre-raid BiS items specially the ones needed Emblems of Heroism coz it seems like you cant acquire those in the phase of WOLTK in warmane Icecrown, hoping any Feral druid main here that is knowledgable on gearing in Icecrown, Thank you

  2. You can exchange higher tier emblems down to any kind of lower ones, but it's unlikely you will need that.

Farm EOT, buy T9 set, whatever else you are missing. Do ICC dungeons for offset items, do them HC every day, if there is a piece there you need.

    1) Don't pay attention to WotLK Classic videos. They regard a different play realm with a different environment. Warmane is based on the 3.3.5 patch with some QoL changes like enhanced XP, profession, reputation, and gold rates (except on Lordedaron, where everything is x1), and there are no quests that give you emblems in the open world. That's implemented in Classic. Speaking of differences, Naxx + EoE + OS were recently released in Classic, whereas on Icecrown and Lordearon you have access to the entire pve content.

    2) You said you were looking for some tips on how to gear your feral. Are you planning on playing as a cat (pvp, pve) or bear?

Im gunning for a Feral DPS for PvE coz im not into PvP yet

  5. In that case, here are some tips:

    1) First and foremost, I would advise you to practise executing the priority list on a target dummy regularly if you don't feel comfortable with it, or you need a reminder. That's the most important thing for me because even with low amount of gear a person can still contribute to the raid and be a valuable asset to a guild roster.

    2) Speaking of which, join a gearing or a semi-hardcore guild. You might not raid with your guild mates immediately upon arrival, but you might be invited in their off raids (EoF weeklies, VoA, ToC gearing). This is going to enhance your gaming experience in the long term and can build future connections.

    3) Angrylol is right that you can do ICC dungeons for some entry gear. My personal advice is to acquire some items from the point shop and from the ah beforehand, granted you have the points or the gold for them. If you cannot afford the epic items like http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50452, there are some good blues for you as well - http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=37624. If not, you can farm Knights of the Ebon Blade and Argent Crusade rep and complete the quest chain for Sons of Hodir, in order to buy some agility items. For a complete pre-Naxx pre-BiS list, I recommend this site. However, you don't need to acquire everything from that list before you progress further into the pve content. I only recommended those items just so you can remove some of your weak greens, which you've acquired while leveling, so that your dungeon group doesn't struggle with low dps. Once at 2.5-3k gs, you can safely join toc, fos, pos, and hor spam runs. In toc, you only want http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=47214, so the moment you obtain it, you can stop spamming that dungeon. Some players also join ICC rep runs, where they clear the mobs in ICC prior to the first boss - if you're into that, you can get a very good ring http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50402, though personally I prefer to farm it while killing bosses.

    4) Farm HCs for EoTs and buy T9 like angrylol said.

    5) Once you get close to 5k, you can start pugging VoA 10/25, ToC 25, and weekly raids for EoFs. Prioritise purchasing t10 pieces with those badges.

    6) You can easily clear icc 10 nm and rs 10/25 with 5k-ish gear, but pugs will never invite you. This is why I recommend joining a guild, where the gear requirements will be more lenient for new or returning players. I have done RS 25 with 5.2k on both Frostmourne and Lordearon, and it was easy. If your GM allows you to join the guild's ICC nm and RS nm raids, read tactics and watch videos, so that you can contribute to the group.

P.S.: Get AtlasLoot - it's going to be really helpful. Also, there's a way to skip the ilvl requirements for RDF HC, but I don't recommend it if you're new to the cat spec.
Edited: October 10, 2022 Reason: forget to mention t10

  6. Everything you said helped a lot i really had trouble gearing coz guides out there is not appropriate for the current phase of the game, I really wanna go increase my GS fast coz im boosting my lil bro to 80 hehe thanks alot again

and do you have any guild that you could recommend coz to honest i dont have any idea

  7. Personally, I cannot recommend a specific guild because I haven't played on Icecrown for quite some time now. However, I would advise you to find something in /global, on Icecrown's recruitment page, or in the unofficial warmane discord channel (there's a recruitment section for IC there as well).

Btw, is it possible for you to post your armoury here? We can probably give you more specific tips on how to gear your druid if we see your current state.

Currently this is my items im near being exalted in Wyrmrest Accord then near revered at the Kirin Tor, Revered in the Argent Crusade and Ebon blade, those pieces are just form questing and RDF, currently im Grinding my Reputation for Sons of Hodir.

Thank you again for intertaining my questions :)

  9. If you're playing on warmane, you can find your character here - http://armory.warmane.com/

  10. 1) Get the idol in Grizzly Hills:

Here I'd like to stress on the importance of obtaining the 150 ilvl relic from the Venture Coins vendor. That item can be the line between queuing and not queuing rdf hc. Since I didn't have it on my druid (see the first post), I had to buy more things from the ah, in order to compensate the low level of my idol.

Here's how you can obtain the 150 ilvl relic the quickest way possible:
    - go to Venture Bay (i.e. the southwestern part of Grizzly Hills);
    - you need to complete 3 daily quests, in order to acquire 30 Venture coins;
    - once you do them, speak to "Grizzly" D. Adams (if you are an Alliance player) or Purkom (if you are a Horde one). Coordinates are [13.9, 86.4]. If you don't have Carbonite, you head south towards the small peninsula and /tar "Grizzly" or /tar Pur.
    2) You can get a bit of rep for the Kirin Tor and buy new trousers.

    3) Buy http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=37624.

    4) If you can afford it, get http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50452. I haven't played with my Icecrown druid since 2020, but you can still see me using the purple neck. I honestly like it because it gives me an extra socket and hit rating. I deem it worth the purchase.

If you can't get number 4, dw. Check your gs after getting the first three things. Afterwards, you can start farming toc, pos, fos, and hor and RDF HC. From RDF HC, you only want emblems, but every upgrade you get will be nice. The items you want to get right now are from the ICC dungeons, especially from their heroic variants. I will discuss trinkets and weapons a bit later, but for the rest of the things you will mostly spam the aforementioned instances. I won't go in detail for this - just download AtlasLoot, and it will show you the available options from each boss.

    Trinkets:
As I've said, from toc you mostly want http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=47214, but this trinket is going to remain useful to you for quite a while. I try to get http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50198 from fos hc as well, but at 900-1k arp, I replace it with something else (preferably with an ICC trinket by this moment). I don't recommend you buy http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50355 because the EoFs are better used on t10 and on other off-set pieces.

    Weapons:
They are also going to be hard to come by. My goal is to get the weapon from the second boss in HoR HC, i.e. http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50296. My personal advice to you is NOT to buy http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50379. If by any chance you win it (I wish you good luck, btw), you should sell it on the ah. The gold will help you acquire gold for professions, for consumables, and if you want to buy epic BoEs - http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=49895, http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=49899 (FYI, you can also get your t10 legs from VoA 10/25), and http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50001 (once you start farming EoFs, you'll replace it relatively fast).

TL;DR: This is the EoT stage. You farm dungeons for 226 and 232 ilvl items and emblems, and you use the EoTs for t9 set and off-set pieces.
After you reach 4.8k gs, you can start looking for ToC 10 (if you still need something from there), ToC 25, and mby Onyxia 25. Most of the weekly EoF quests are super easy because they require killing low-tier raid bosses (like Patchwerk in Naxx or Flame Leviathan in Ulduar). If you see a pug raid with low gs requirements for a weekly raid, join it. Those are raids for 3.5k players, but ofc pugs will never invite lowbies. Anyway, ToC 25 is going to provide you with the next set of upgrades, so when you come close to 4.8k gs start reading tactics for that instance. You will most likely see http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=47115 given to other classes - this shouldn't surprise you, as they benefit from it more than us (the same way rets don't have prio on DBW in icc). However, you can easily roll on all other pieces (prioritise weapons and off-set pieces).

TL;DR: This is the ToC stage. You farm ToC and try to get as many upgrades as possible, in order to reach 5k something.
After you reach 5.2k, all that it's left are ICC and RS where you acquire actual (pre-)BiS items. Once you reach this point, you can start looking at BiS lists to get an idea of the best options, but all other alternatives will be great upgrades for you at start. You should try to find groups for both 10-man and 25-man nm, in order to maximise your chances of getting loot and emblems. The EoFs are best used on t10 pieces for the tier bonuses (I usually leave the pants for last because there's a chance that I win them in VoA 10 and 25) and then for off-set. Since pugs will rarely search low-geared people for those instances, and they usually fail midway, your best bet is to be in a guild. If you find a nice home, really make sure to read tactics so that you become part of the roster and solidify your spot. Afterwards, you will only look at BiS lists, which are all over warmane.

TL;DR: This is the EoF stage. You farm EoF for t10 -> 264 ilvl off-set pieces, and you clear ICC and RS from here onwards.
    Other tips:
    1) If you get a raiding spot in ICC and RS, save your priority/dkp for trinkets and weapons (I always prioritise http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50362 and http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=54569 over small upgrades).

    2) In order to increase your chances of getting into a raid (even if you just get EoFs and nothing else), consider getting an OS. Boomies are always in demand, and you'll have an easier time joining icc 10 with a boomie than with a cat.

    3) You don't need any gs to join icc rep runs, so if you're in the mood to farm rep for the Ashen Verdict, you can acquire http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=50402. This will take a lot of runs, but you can stop at Revered if you find the grind too monotonous.

currently on auction house bought the ring and currently looking for the the Necklace, do you think 1.2k gold is a good price thats the lowest one

Honestly, I cannot say. It has been a while since I played on Icecrown, and I don't recall the cheapest price for the neck. I have a vague memory that it could cost 800g, but even if that's true, then the 400g difference can be achieved by completing 10 quests. In other words, I would buy the neck for the current price if I were you.

[edit] I see that you've already done it. Well... I didn't see your post earlier. :C

First of all, thanks for the kind words. I'm glad to hear that I was able to help you. :)

Secondly, you don't need the weapon from VH or any other upgrades from the rep factions. As I've stated in the past, you just needed to replace a few green items in order to join toc, fos, pos, and hor spam runs. You can find those in /global, /trade in Dalaran, and /general in Icecrown. With 3.4k gs, you'll surely be invited. Heck, you can even join fos and pos hc walk-ins. In case you've missed it, the quest that allows you to get inside fos can be picked up from Dark Ranger Vorel in Dalaran.

You don't need to be exalted with other factions, but it's good that you're maxxed with Sons of Hodir and the Knights of the Ebon Blade because now you can buy the BiS enchants for your shoulder and head slots respectively. Speaking of BiS enhancements, you can do the quests in WG and get free honour points. You can use those to buy epic gems in Orgrimmar (the honour vendor is in a building between the portal and the flight master). You don't need to equip the epic gems while you're still in the EoT-farming phase, but you can save them for later.

Enjoy your games and have a nice day as well! :)
