WotLK How do I make D&D macro?

So I recently came back playing after a while, and I was trying to make a macro for DnD spell.

I tried to use at first a DnD macro where it drops at my feet, but for some reason I couldn't make it.
So I tried to make a macro to drop DnD where my mouse is, bit it didn't work either.
I find it weird since when I last played here, these macros worked perfectly fine.
Has something change? Or am I just not doing it correctly?

The macros I've tried to use:

/cast [mod:ctrl, @cursor] Death and Decay; [@player] Death and Decay
