You buy something for 10 gold, sell it for 12 gold. Do that as many times you need. In a few months time you will have hundreds of thousands of gold.

wait till you are lvl 80. life gets easier at max lvl. quests at lvl 80 give more gold than at lower lvls. don't blow your gold away by buying useless crap in the AH.
definitely don't buy mats for raising your professions. first talents then mounts, you should be good to go.
