WotLK Pit of Saron quest chain bug

I have finished the quest "The Path to the Citadel" and I am supposed to speak to Gorkun Ironskull, but for some reason the option to hand in the quest to him and move onto the next is not available. I just want to be able to move on to doing the Halls of Reflection. I can see Gorkun, but there is no turn in option available. I have screenshots showing it is finished, but no option to turn in.

Nevermind, I found a thread that gave the solution down further. I think that this bug should be fixed.

How did you fix it? I am having the same problem and dont find the thread you are talking about

This is a well known bug. NPC Gorkun will spawn at the bottum of the ramp in pit of sauron instead of at garfrost's entrance and will be unable to be spoken with to turn in the quest.

Temporary fix for players: Re-do the dungeon and save gorkun from the mobs at the start of the instance
Server required fix: Spawn the npc at garfrost.
