Ooze and Gas variable on 10 man heroic Professor Putricide

Is Professor Putricide supposed to give out the "red and green" debuff to the raid in the transition from phase 1 to phase 2 on 10 man heroic or is it a bug yet to be fixed?

Ye so from this old clip, I assume from retail servers back in the day, he doesnt give out that "Ooze and Gas variable" it seems.
Why does he do it on Icecrown then?

That debuff only exists in 25hc.

As far as Warmane goes, I know it's always only been on 25HC. I would imagine it was the same on retail.

The reason being I'm sure is because splitting the variables in half would be pretty tough for 10man. Imagine having 2 healers and a tank getting the same variable in a 10m. Yikes.
