Realms Hardcore mode without Addons

A hardcore mode for example Icecrown or any other server, no need for a separate one. Right now you can right-click the EXP bar to set your experience rating. What if you also had an option for hardcore where you can not change back and 1x experience rate? Is it possible to implement?

I think hardcore more would suit lordaeron more, as it already is x1 and generally harder realm, it would be nice to activate hardcore mode on the character with just 2 things: after first death character its done and pvp flagged disbled OR not counting pvp deaths as "challenge" end which isnt as ssimilar to classic servers but may be eassier to implement/code.

The reason why i think this would be intresting is because Hardcore mode seems to be really popular lately (even some players are already doing this in Lordaeron but without an official mode is less atractive because players dont want others cheating), it may increase lordaeron numbers and make the server more complete.

The thing is: why would any of that need implementation? There would be no tracking or record keeping on our end anyway, no leaderboards, no rewards, it has already been said we have no interest in having that in any official capacity. Players who want to challenge themselves without add-ons can just do it, create and follow their own rules, delete the character or just consider it "over" if they die.
