"Join as group failed" error joining BGs

Across my entire account, both servers and all characters getting "Join as group failed" error when trying to join battlegrounds. Is this a local problem or a server problem? I am not in a group.

same - and this happend right after i got dc'd from an AV. I logged back into char and I was in SW no deserter no anything.

Now whenever I try to join bg, I get the same message as you on all chars.
