Best shop weapon for middle bg bracket?

I've heard that if you buy one piece of BIS or near-BIS gear you get dumped in the top BG bracket, so what's the best weapon I can buy for a DK without having that happen?

I think the consensus is "if you buy from the store" you get moved to higher bracket. **** around and find out.
