Few options, nothing solid stated yet:
a) they remain in Onyxia and die with it.
b) they can be transferred to other realm. Most likely to Icecrown.

Will there be a pre-patch before the release of tbc? So that horde can level up a pala and alliance a shammy before the release ?

If everything else has been released according to schedule, why would Naxx be delayed? AQ was about players unlocking it. If players opted to slack and not bothering with war effort/AQ, that's on them. Delaying Naxx would evidently delay the whole project.

Because it was orginally communicated that the april release was both a deadline and an estimate, and then it was changed. Why would I assume the next tier wouldn't also be delayed if the most current example is it being delayed?
