Went thru the trouble of completing the quest for it, to my surprise "This weapon cannot be used for transmogification"

Why is that? such a cool looking weapon

Anyone got an answer for it? Why is it not on the list of items for xmogs?

Just get this one, same model and color.
Just make sure you follow the t-mog rules.
You need to be able to equip the item, otherwise you won't be able to transmogrify it.
